The Be Cyclocross project—demonstrating that Black and Brown athletes have a place in cyclocross.

Our primary objective is to bring people of color to a new discipline of bike racing by lowering barriers of entry into the sport.

Our original 2021 squad included 5 athletes in New York City. In 2022, we added two more.

Our athletes will receive:

A race bike (for the duration of their time on the team)

Mentorship and Coaching

Race Registration Fees covered for a (to be determined) series of races

Assistance with Travel, Lodging, and Race Day Logistics

An opportunity to ride, train, and race with fellow athletes of color
